The whole school took part in a variety of activities to celebrate World Book Day. The children (and staff!) looked fantastic in their costumes.  A total of £138.62 was raised and will be donated to Book Aid International. Well done to the ‘Chicken Nugg-ettes’ team who won the Year 5 / 6 Bumper Book Quiz!

Children have also received a World Book Day token which can be exchanged for one of ten exclusive £1 World Book Day Books, or if you prefer, use it to get £1 off any full-priced book or audio book. Tokens must be redeemed by Sunday 31st March 2019. More photographs from the day can be found here.
