Evolution's dance fascinates us all
Thank you 6D for an interesting and impressive class assembly on their topic of evolution and adaptation.
The children shared lots of facts about their learning including Charles Darwin and Natural Selection. We found out about how finches evolved with the size of their beaks and about the peppered moth changing colours to blend in with their surroundings. This inspired children to write poetry about the moths which included personification, metaphors, repetition and noun phrases. Well done Year 6!
