Sunny Days, where have you gone?

A big thank you to Year 5 for their wonderful class assembly this week!

The children have been hard at work, and it was a joy to see them showcase so much of their learning. They shared their geography lessons, including their fun way of remembering the points of the compass—Never Eat Shredded Wheat. Their English work was also covered, inspired by their class book, The Last Wild.

The highlight of the assembly was hearing all about their exciting (and muddy!) residential trip to Hindleap Warren. It was lovely to see photos of the children enjoying various activities. They spoke about their favourite moments, from climbing the tower and building shelters to watching Mr. Bates lead the pillowcase game. Of course, the legendary night walk was a hit with everyone!

Thank you, Year 5, for such an entertaining and insightful assembly!
