National Curriculum Test Results

As you may have noticed in the media, schools have this week (finally) received the results from the Year 6 National Curriculum tests (often referred to as SATs) that were taken in May.

The children performed incredibly well and should feel extremely proud in achieving a high level of results.

  • In reading, 93% of pupils met the expected standard, 73% high standard.

  • In writing, 87% of pupils met the expected standard, 27% greater depth.
  • In grammar, punctuation and spelling, 93% of pupils met the expected standard, 70% high standard.
  • In all of reading, writing and maths, 80% of pupils met the expected standard, 27% high standard.
