Ruby

Ruby has achieved an incredible amount within her first term at St Luke’s. Ruby has shown great understanding in mathematics and has enjoyed learning about 2D and 3D shapes. Ruby has a great understanding of the phonemes we have been learning in school and is really confident in blending her words! She shows a thirst for learning in all areas. She continues to be a great role model for her all of her friends in reception. We are really proud of the steps Ruby has taken. Well done Ruby!

Year 1

Alec

Alec has shown a tremendous enthusiasm for writing this term. He has written some wonderful stories full of his own ideas. We have been particularly impressed by the way in which Alec continues to challenge himself to write more sentences and improve his writing. Well done Alec, keep up the good work.

Year 2

Fredrik

Fredrik has been a superstar in Year 2 throughout the Autumn term.  We have seen him shine in every subject.  This is down to his diligence and ability to concentrate and challenge himself.  Fredrik also displays wonderful manners and behaviour in and out of the classroom.  Well done Fredrik.  We are so very proud of you!

Year 3

Amelia

Amelia came into year three determined to make the most of every day. Her enthusiasm for learning is infectious. She is a delight to teach as she has a desire to improve her work and regularly acts upon the feedback given to her by the teacher. She has a great love of music which invades all subjects (even computing!). But most importantly, she is a kind friend to all in year three and it is this that makes her stand out in the class. Well done Amelia, you are a star!

Year 4

Ayesha

Ayesha, never has anyone deserved a Headteacher’s award more than you! The transformation you have made from year 2 is staggering. You have dazzled us all with your ‘can do’ approach to your learning. You really have given 100% of yourself this year. Not only are you a pleasure to teach but you have become a great role model for the entire class. Keep shining Ayesha!

Year 5ET

Ashleen

Ashleen has really blossomed this term. She has a lovely, positive attitude and is always respectful and polite to adults. She is a great partner to others, helpful in the classroom and a really smiley class member. Above all, Ashleen continues to make great progress across the board. She listens to and acts on feedback and she has worked tremendously hard to improve her handwriting and writing skills. This positive, determined attitude has enabled Ashleen to develop confidence and self belief and she thoroughly deserves this award. Keep it up Ashleen!

Year 5SD

Isabella

Isabella is a hardworking, creative girl who always gives her best. When faced with challenges she shows determination to succeed, willingly helping others on the way. Isabella is very kind and thoughtful, showing maturity in her understanding and care of others. She shows genuine pleasure when others succeed and is a great friend. Isabella is a delightful student and a pleasure to teach.

Year 6

Kelsey

Kelsey has impressed with the mature and positive manner in which she has started Year 6. She has eased confidently and easily into the role of leading the school by caring for the younger children and eagerly accepting responsibilities. Within her work, she is learning that it is good to make mistakes because we can learn from them! And although a perfectionist, she is increasingly excited about challenging herself in lessons and prioritising this. She has shown an extremely positive attitude in all lessons and I thoroughly enjoy her enthusiastic approach. Prince Albert would be impressed by her love of education and thirst for knowledge!
