What are we learning?
Our class overviews are now ready to browse (click here).
As a Church School, St. Luke’s seeks to provide a safe environment of love, Christian precept and example within which children may develop, acquire skills and learn to make informed judgements. We hope to develop lively, enquiring minds and appreciate that there is a joy in all forms of learning and discovery. We want children to acquire the skills necessary for lifelong learning.
We aim to achieve this through interweaving core Christian values; thought-provoking and philosophical questions around local and global issues; dedicated time during class and whole school worship to develop as Global Citizens; a rich Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE) curriculum and effective Religious Education lessons.
Each month we focus on a character virtue - this month it is 'CONFIDENCE.'
