The day began with a whole school assembly, where the children learnt about the job roles of an author and an illustration. They also learnt about the very interesting process they go through to get their stories into their final form. To end worship the children were treated to a reading of the comical story of Theodore James Harrison Brown.

Throughout the day, children then participated in workshops based on Karen and Shanée’s inspiring picture books, all of which have a moral that can be used to support the emotional and social development of children.
