In the deep blue sea
This week, we had a treat as we watched the Reception class assembly, which was based on their mini and mega beasts topic.
The children had learnt their lines and songs brilliantly and shared lots of facts about beasts.
They also retold the The Snail and the Whale story which linked with their learning as they have written postcards to Mr Dutton about their travels. Reception also showed us their physical and digital artwork inspired by the book as well as details about their trips to the Stanley Picker Gallery and Father Martin's garden.
