Step Back in Time: Year 3’s Stone Age Adventure

This week, our Year 3 pupils took us on an incredible journey back in time to explore the Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic Eras during their Stone Age class assembly.

The children impressed us with their in-depth knowledge, showcasing fascinating facts in a creative Dragon's Den-style sketch.

They also shared some of their remarkable writing inspired by the book Ug, bringing the prehistoric world to life through their words. Additionally, the audience was treated to stunning replicas of Stone Age cave paintings, each one intricately detailed and historically accurate.

As part of their learning, the children also introduced us to the trailblazing palaeontologist Mary Anning, sharing her significant contributions to the field.

A fantastic assembly—well done, Year 3! Below are some photos capturing the highlights of the assembly.
