An Outstanding Showcase: Year 6’s Inspiring Assembly
A huge thank you to Year 6 for their outstanding class assembly!
The performance was wonderfully varied and packed with fascinating facts and insights from their learning in geography, science, and English. They opened with an engaging presentation on biomes, impressing us with their creative Biome Battle Royale!
We were treated to imaginative and beautifully written pieces inspired by their class book, Varmints, showcasing their impressive and expressive vocabulary choices. Their gymnastics routines demonstrated remarkable control and grace, leaving the audience in awe.
The assembly continued with a lovely rendition of The Leaves Fell for the Last Time, a truly moving song. We also learned about the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Mama Mita, and the 'Father of Classification,' Carl Linnaeus. Their artwork capturing movement added an extra layer of creativity to an already incredible assembly.
Well done, Year 6—you delivered an exceptional assembly that made us all proud!
