On Tuesday, a beautifully sunny but cold day, 8 girls and 8 boys from year 6 took part in the Kingston Schools Cross Country Competition; a 2.25km course around Kingston Grammar School Sports Field in Thames Ditton. 660 children from 33 Kingston schools took part and the competition was tough. All of our team did St Luke’s proud by running their very best and enjoying the challenge. Congratulations to Holly who came 15^th in the year 6 girls’ race and Hayden who came 35^th in the year 6 boys’ race. Both the boys and the girls teams came in 11th place overall, which is a fantastic achievement! Congratulations to everyone who took part!
