Religious Education (RE) is not just an academic subject, but lies at the very heart of our curriculum and has an important role in reflecting and conveying the distinctively Christian character of the school. We encourage children to approach their life in and out of school from a Christian perspective. Likewise, we encourage praise of God by word and deed. We introduce children to the scriptures and those persons who have influenced the development of Christian worship. Both the religious life of the community and the significance of religious festivals are explored. Respect and tolerance of all faiths are also taught.
